Recent reports from AARP indicate that more and more older adults do not have children. As a result, these elder adults fall into the risk of becoming socially isolated because they have fewer family members or friends to provide care. As a solution to this problem, the Nick of Time Project has created the Isolation Prevention Program, where elders are strengthened and revived through daily activities and monthly field trips. Applicants who wish to partake in the Isolation Prevention Program must meet a specific criterion in order to be illegible to participate.
